Position Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the lead for product quality at Tagore, manage entire quality team and all quality related activities, including but not limited non-conforming materials disposition, corrective/preventive action, FMEA, Incoming/Out-going inspection, ECN management, internal and external quality audit, ESD oversight, equipment calibration, etc.
  • Work cross organization to maintain and improve a solid and robust quality system to deliver best results in class satisfaction.
  • Provide leadership in developing and fostering the quality mindset within the company, strategize and lead internal quality initiatives to support business needs and evolving customer needs.
  • Setup and maintain quality goals, strategy, procedures and plans, own and drive all quality metrics to targets and ensure continuous improvement.
  • Drive timely and effective closure of internal corrective/preventive action process and prevent recurrence through robust problem solving and right methodologies such as 8D.
  • Be a catalyst to enable risk-based thinking & quality insurers to support the company’s overall quality goals, identify potential risks, and manage and report compliance breaches and exposures.
  • Supervise and manage quality-related issues from all suppliers and/or subcontractors.
  • Own and drive the KPI (Key Process Indicators) for each product and process and enforce continuous improvements by identifying opportunities for improvements.
  • Conduct failure analysis, data analysis, yield analysis, product qualification, and reliability testing.
  • Maintain and update quality system, records, and documentation.
  • Closely monitor any update of industry/military standards, ensure on time implementation of any related new standards and/or updates of existing standards.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • B.S. Degree in Engineering or other related field or equivalent experience.
  • 3+ years of progressive quality management experience in semiconductor industry with direct customer/supplier engagement experience.
  • Good written, presentation, communication skills and interact with all levels.
  • Leadership skills to drive a high-performance team with hands on experience on excellent problem solving/troubleshooting skills.
  • Strong knowledge and applied experience in overall Quality Management systems such as Control Plan, FMEA, SPC, KPI, Corrective/Preventive Action, 8D problem solving methodologies, failure analysis procedures, etc.
  • ISO9001:2015/IATF16949, auditor certification is a plus.
  • Able to withstand and perform under pressure and tight deadlines.
  • Experience with multi and cross-functional environments.
  • Experience in fostering a quality culture with a customer perspective.
  • Familiar with industry standards including JEDEC, AEC standards, and some military standards.

This position offers relocation support.


Travel:

The position may require travel up to 20% of the time.
